New Children Join Genesis House Family

Artem and Katya were born and raised in Kyiv. Artem was 3 years old when his father left them. Katya was born four years later from another partner. The children used to live with their Grandmother, Mother and Uncle. The uncle since his childhood sniffed glue, smoked heavily and has been arrested by the police several times.

Their mother died, the grandmother was an alcoholic and eventually, the Social Service accompanied by the police took the children away from the Uncle and placed them in the orphanage. It is where Oleg and Natasha found them and brought them to Genesis House. By now both of them have adjusted very well and feel very much at home in Genesis House.
