Free Sim Cards for Ukrainian Refugees
New Beginnings Charity have teamed up with Vodafone to offer free SIM cards to Ukrainian refugees arriving in Cumbria.
Vodafone have pledged to provide 'vital connectivity' for up to 200,000 Ukrainian refugees fleeing the war. They’re offering free SIM cards to 200,000 refugees arriving in the UK from Ukraine through its charities.connected initiative.
Once arrived, connectivity will be essential to help refugees access vital support, mental health services and healthcare and to stay in touch with friends and family back home and elsewhere.
The SIM cards are pre-loaded and each come with 20GB data each month plus unlimited calls and texts for a period of six months. Any Ukrainian citizen arriving in the UK via the government’s resettlement scheme is eligible.
To obtain your SIM card, please contact us by email and we can arrange for you to collect a card in Kendal, Cumbria.
Please note: New Beginnings Charity managed to secure a limited amount of cards and they are being offered on first come basis.
